How Does the Webasto Overnight Heater Work? 🔥
Our built-in Webasto overnight heater is designed to keep you warm and comfortable during chilly Icelandic nights
It operates using both diesel fuel and electric power:
-The overnight heater consumes approximately 2–4 liters of fuel per night, depending on how intensively it’s used.
-Power comes from a dedicated secondary battery, separate from the vehicle’s main battery, so you can use the heater overnight without worrying about draining your engine starter battery.
The secondary battery recharges automatically while you drive, and about 2–3 hours of driving during the day is usually enough to fully recharge it.
Once fully charged, the Webasto heater can provide up to 8 hours of continuous heating — helping you stay warm and cozy throughout the night, even in Iceland’s unpredictable weather.
It’s a reliable, efficient, and quiet system that takes the edge off cold nights so you can sleep soundly in your camper.
Whether you’re chasing waterfalls, hiking volcanoes, or simply taking in the midnight sun, this cozy campervan is your perfect base for an unforgettable and affordable Icelandic road trip. 🌋✨
